If you are
going green then you will definitely want to incorporate Soap Nuts into
your healthy living program!
Soap Nuts have been around for thousands of years!

Soap Nuts are the dried fruit of the Chinese Soapberry tree. They come from Nepal and India.
They contain saponin, a natural cleaner used to clean clothes. Soap nuts come in two sizes the smaller one sapindus infoliatus and the larger one sapindus mukorossi. Both work great although the larger one is the one that is most commonly used.

Soap nuts get rid of nasty odors. If you have really tough stains, you can add 1/2 cup of lemon into your wash.

Soap nuts are natural and free from chemicals and fragrances. No need to worry about allergies. They are 100% non allergenic.

Soap nuts are so easy to use! Simply drop 4 to 5 nuts into a muslin bag
(I recommend adding 2 drops of Mother Earth Lavender Essential Oil to the nuts)
You now have scented laundry soap with medicinal additives!
Remove the muslin bag before putting the clothes into the dryer.

Another way to use soap nuts is to boil about 15-18 of them in 1.5 quarts of water.
You now have a concentrated liquid. You can add about 3 tablespoons of this to each load of laundry.

Soap nuts can be used to clean every room in the house! It can be used as a window and glass cleaner.
It repairs oily or dry hair.
Soap Nuts are a great multi-purpose cleaner.
Makes being green that much easier!

Soap nuts are anti-microbial (capable of destroying or inhibiting the growth of microorganisms)
They help break down the "gray" in your septic system.

Save water with Soap Nuts!

You don't have to use your rinse cycle with soap nuts. This can save you tons of gallons of water.
Just in case you forget to turn off the rinse cycle the saponin in the soap nuts acts as a softener

Soap Nuts are 100% environmentally friendly!
